Plot/Summary[]
Melrose Kronholm is having her twelfth birthday. Exactly one year ago, this is the day when her stepmother and half-brother perished in a house fire, while Melrose barely escaped. With her new life, Melrose has tried forgetting about the physical and mental scars of her past. All of that changes when Melrose makes a detrimental discovery--her stepmother's journal, titled "The Doctrine of Perseverance." This leads her into the mysterious world of the Nox where she has to unravel the secrets of the cursed mansion that burnt to the ground.
In game you follow Melrose in her journey through the Nox, the player finds various puzzles in the suspense driven atmosphere, from collecting items and combining them to timed events.
